About

Enterprise Architecture & AI

Making sense of AI through an enterprise lens.

I am an Enterprise Architect with a long-standing interest in machine learning and artificial intelligence, working at the intersection of business strategy, technology, data and organisational change.

Why this journal

The rapid development of generative AI is changing both what organisations can achieve and how Enterprise Architecture should operate. Large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation and intelligent automation create valuable opportunities, but they also introduce architectural complexity and important questions about governance, security, data, responsibility and long-term maintainability.

I created this journal to explore what is happening across AI and Enterprise Architecture. I share developments that I find significant, examine their potential consequences for organisations and offer my perspective on how architects and technology leaders can respond.

01

Emerging AI

The technologies, patterns and capabilities that may materially change the enterprise.

02

Architecture & governance

How organisations can manage complexity, risk, data, security and accountability.

03

From idea to execution

Practical perspectives on investment, transformation and sustainable implementation.

The aim is not simply to follow AI trends, but to understand what they mean for real organisations.

My perspective

The posts reflect my personal views and professional experience. I look beyond the headlines to consider what new developments mean for enterprise strategy, architecture, governance, investment and execution.

My goal is to contribute practical perspectives, encourage thoughtful discussion and help connect emerging AI capabilities with the realities of enterprise transformation.
